The Nunchi Group

While our principles and methodologies apply seamlessly to other sectors, we specialize working with public safety and law enforcement agencies, facilities management organizations, and higher education administration and operations divisions.
The term NUNCHI (눈치, pronounced "Noon-Chee") is a Korean concept that translates to cultural competency and emotional intelligence. Awareness, Empathy, Competency, and Courage make up the Nunchi Framework.

Dr. Joseph K. Han
Dr. Joseph K. Han started The Nunchi Group after a 30-year career in higher education where he has served as an administration and operations executive, faculty member, consultant, and executive law enforcement executive. Dr. Han's passion is consulting and speaking regionally and nationally on the topics of organizational excellence, leadership development, change management, and safety. Invite Dr. Han to partner with you and your organization to help you create what you know is possible. Dr. Han is passionate about helping individuals and organizations create a place where everyone can thrive to achieve their aspirational futures.
Dr. Han is personally and professionally committed to continuous improvement. While working with both public and private organizations, in union and non-union environments, two things stayed consistent through his transitions.
